Shri Radha Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 19
māya mohiṁ bhaiyā bahuta khijhāya
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Little Kishorī Jī complains to Mother Kīrti about Her brother Shrīdāmā, “Oh Mother! Brother Shrīdāmā troubles Me a lot. I will not make him My brother. Oh Mother! Today I had gone to play in the groves with My friends. Brother Shrīdāmā was hiding in that grove already. Covering himself with a blanket and acting like a ghost, he frightened all of us suddenly. Oh Mother, brother said to us in a very fearful voice, ‘I am a ghost. I will eat you all today.’ We immediately took to our heels and were extremely tired of running, followed by him. Then, the brother removed his blanket and said, ‘Hei! I am Shrīdāmā’.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, Mother Kīrti consoled Kishorī Jī, saying, “Oh Lālī! Let Shrīdāmā come. I will thoroughly thrash him with a stick today.”
