Prem Ras Madira · प्रेम रस मदिरा

Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj’s work is described by the publisher as 1,008 pads across 21 Madhuris. The original devotional wording is preserved; spellings are not rewritten for search engines.

Pad total and source references

Prem Ras Madira contains 1,008 pads in 21 Madhuris. Imported record numbers are source references, not a revised total for the book. Madhuri-local references and permanent source IDs are retained to preserve existing links, bookmarks and learning progress.

Published literature and source history

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain. The original work, the scanned edition, and this website's transcription are separate things.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. Original page facsimiles and the Braj Ras Madhuri source illustration are identified alongside their source pages. The Bhakti illustration manifest records the separate challenge artwork; it is not evidence of the books' historical publication.

The supplied Prem Ras Madira Gutka explicitly records its eighth edition, Guru Purnima, 15 July 2011, published by Radha Govind Samiti (PDF page 3, printed page II). This is evidence of the companion printed edition; it is not the first-publication date or a date assigned to every scan.

The official author's biography says Prem Ras Madira and Prem Ras Siddhant had been published by 1955. A JKP article on Shri Radha's name gives 1960 for Prem Ras Madira's first Hindi publication. Because these accounts differ, we retain both references and do not assert a single verified first-publication year.

The current official Prem Ras Madira listing names the author and Radha Govind Samiti as publisher. Its current edition/ISBN is not automatically the identity of an older supplied scan. See also the official overview of the author's literature.

Source editions and meanings

The text follows the supplied Prem Raas Madhira reader edition (546 PDF pages), checked alongside the Gutka edition (569 PDF pages). Hindi whole-pad meanings come from the supplied 949-page meaning scan. Each pad page identifies its verse pages, meaning pages when available, and permanent source ID.

The present transcription has 1,004 Hindi meaning blocks. Meanings for Virah local pads 170–174 are unavailable in the supplied source. The scan provides whole-pad meanings; line-by-line and word-by-word explanations are not established by it. Transcriptions may contain OCR errors and are not certified editions.

Braj Ras Madhuri · Part 1

The native reading edition follows the supplied 337-page book: its front matter, daily prayers, seven aartis, practice instructions and all 216 numbered kirtans. Printed kirtan numbers are distinct from the alphabetical index’s serial numbers. Each reading retains PDF and printed-page references.

Three handwritten pages retain their original facsimiles. Thirteen unclear segments on PDF pages 9 and 41 are marked [अस्पष्ट]; their native transcriptions remain partial. The original devotional illustration on PDF page 49 is preserved too. Separate Hindi meanings and English translations are unavailable. The source conversion auditmaps the source pages and glyph decoding. The current official listing describes a related edition; its pagination and ISBN are not assigned to this scan.

Braj Ras Madhuri · Parts 2–4

The supplied volumes retain their own kirtan numbers, introductory readings and PDF/printed-page citations. The currently sold editions are related references; their numbering is not a verified crosswalk. English meanings are unavailable in these supplied sources.

English meanings

Prem Ras Madira now includes the supplied English edition’s Roman transliteration and whole-pad English meanings, matched to the original Madhuri and local pad numbers. The source credits Smt. Padmā Devī for the meanings and Sushrī Braj Parikarī Devī for transliteration and translation. Its first English edition is dated October 2009, published by Radha Govind Samiti (both parts, PDF pages 2–3). This date belongs to that English edition, not the original work’s first publication.

Each pad retains separate Hindi and English source-page references. The English source wording is transcribed, not newly translated here. Transcription errors may remain. English navigation and Roman transliteration are distinct from the English meanings. English edition evidence and source checksums. Other native books and challenges still mark translations unavailable unless their own source records include them.

Other books

The library contains a personal selection of 20 works, with alternate editions and companion PDFs grouped on their book pages. Each book page describes the available sources. Their contents have not all been transcribed or proofread into searchable chapter pages.

Other preserved source pages (5)

Older source links remain available outside the main bookshelf.

These references establish published-literature context. Related current listings can differ from the supplied PDF in edition, pagination or title spelling. Unverified publication years are left unspecified.
