Shri Radha Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 17
banāī gud̤iyā gud̤arā māya
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
On being insisted by Kishorī Jī, Mother Kīrti made a female doll and a male doll for Her to play with. The colour, form and beauty of the female doll were made exactly like Kishorī Jī’s. And the male doll’s colour, form and beauty were exactly like those of Shyāmasundara. Upon finding the male doll black in colour, Kishorī Jī became sulky, drooping Her face down and said, “How will our fair-complexioned doll marry this black-complexioned male doll?” Mother Kīrti said, “Oh Lālī! Even the Supreme God who has created this entire world is black-complexioned.” Just then, Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī said to Kishorī Jī, “What Mother says is true. You will know it by Your own experience in future.”
