Shri Radha Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 6
merī prānana pyārī jāga re
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Waking up little Kishorī Jī, Mother Kīrti says, “Oh Dearer to me than my life! Wake up. See, the rays of the sun are illuminating the whole earth. The sun, bearing the name of Your father, Bhānu, is showering parental love through its rays. (The colour of love is considered to be red in literature.) The cool, gentle and perfumed breeze is blowing all over. Various types of birds are chirping in the forests, gardens and ponds. And listen to the most important thing of all. Cows are not feeding milk to their calves without You; from where will You get butter then?” When Kishorī Jī still did not get up, Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī softly whispered in Her ear, “Oh Lālī! Nandalāla has come to play with You.” No sooner did Kishorī Jī hear these words than Her sleep was gone and She got up immediately.
