chalo ali dekhana bhānulalī
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
On the event of the birth of Shrī Vṛishabhānunandinī, a maiden of Braja says to her intimate friend, “Oh sakhi! Let’s go to have a glimpse of Shrī Bhānu’s daughter, Rādhā. She is the backer of bliss even to Bliss itself and is the incarnation of the exhilarating enery (Hlādinī Shakti) of the Supreme God. It is from Her that Beauty has acquired beauty and the Bliss divine its blissfulness. Shrī Rādhā is entirely saturated with the nectar of love. Oh sakhi! See, for being blessed with just one glimpse of Her, all men and women are going towards Queen Kīrti’s palace, singing auspicious songs. And look, today each and every lane of Barasānā is rendered fragrant with the much sprinkling of various perfumed substances like sandalwood etc. In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, it is as if some magician has cast his magic spell on all, because each and everyone are besotted with the bliss of love today.
