Shri Krishna Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 94
sakhī sunu, ika rahasya kī bāta
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Making an innocent gopī understand, Shyāmasundara says, “Oh sakhi! Listen to a confidential thing. He, who regards Me as the Supreme God, feels afraid of Me; therefore, he cannot love Me. In order to love Me, one ought to regard Me as one’s king, lord, friend, son and beloved (husband) in accordance with the five sentiments - shānta, dāsya, sakhya, vātsalya and mādhurya respectively. I love one with exactly the same feeling with which one loves Me. Oh sakhi! All My six types of opulence are absolutely insipid; they are not liked by rasikas at all. Therefore, you don’t entangle yourself with My Godhood.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī tells the sakhī, “Oh sakhi! All you need to understand is that you are Shyāmasundara’s darling and Shyāmasundara is your Beloved.”
