Shri Krishna Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 95
sunu muralī vāre kānha re
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A sakhī says to Shyāmasundara, “Oh Captivating Player of the flute! Why do You annoy the maidens of Braja by playing sweet melodies in Your flute? Hearing the melodious music of the flute, even our dry woods become moistened. Consequently, on the one side, I crave to see You; and on the other, because of the woods getting wet, I cannot even cook food. In this situation, the elders in my family - mother, father, husband etc. scold me saying, “Where does your mind live nowadays?” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, the sakhī says, “Oh Shyāmasundara! Why do You feign ignorance even after knowing everything?”
