Shri Krishna Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 86
māya! sakhi pānihiṁ āga lagāya
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Replying to a sakhī’s complaint against Him, little Ṭhākura Jī says, “Oh Mother! These sakhīs are able to ignite fire even in water. You don’t know, every fibre of their being is saturated with fraudulent deception. The mother-in-law of the sakhī who is complaining against Me has told Me that she eats butter by stealing in her own home. Mother! Actually, she is not at fault. The thing is, it is not possible for anyone to get rid of his or her childhood habits. And Mother! When she is scolded by her mother-in-law, she puts blame on Me. If you don’t believe in what I say, ask Manasukhā and brother Baladāū.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that innocent Mother Yashodā believed whatever Ṭhākura Jī said and embraced her son to her heart.
