Shri Krishna Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 63
kyoṁ rahihaiṁ braja brajanāra re
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A sakhī says, “Now, it has become impossible for the maidens of Braja to stay in Braja any longer because the pranks of the prankster Shyāmasundara are increasing day by day in this area. Lifting up the veil of the maidens, He says to them, “Look even at Me for a while.” If any of them tries to stop Him from unveiling her, He forcefully takes the chunarī off her head. Not only this, holding a staff in His hand, He also breaks her earthen pot with it from behind. When she turns around in anger, He breaks her necklaces as well.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, all the maidens of Braja have become disappointed after having tried every means to bring Him round. There is left no way out of it.
