Shri Krishna Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 64
gaīṁ hama saba naṭavara te hāri
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
One sakhī, complaining about Shyāmasundara to Mother Yashodā, says, “We are all defeated by this Kanhaiyā of yours. This darling son of yours has given unbearable pain to all of us – the maidens of Braja. Give your ear to this. He steals our butter, breaks our earthen pots on the bank of the Yamunā, and abuses us like a loafer. Lifting my veil up, He also addresses me as ‘Oh beautiful damsel!’ with a smile. This type of naughtiness is practised by Him not just in few houses, but in each and every house daily.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “The excess of everything is excessively bad. Therefore, Oh Maiyā! Give this matter a serious thought.”
