Shri Krishna Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 55
kānha kī suna karatūtahiṁ māta!
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Complaining about Shyāmasundara to Mother Yashodā, a sakhī says, “Listen to the evil doings of your Kanhaiyā. Yesterday, I was bathing in the river Yamunā with my friends, when all of a sudden, that shameless naughty one hurriedly took my clothes away and hid Himself in a grove. After a little while, He came out of the groves wearing all my clothes and, smiling slowly and putting down His own clothes on the bank of the Yamunā said, ‘You wear these clothes’. I prayed to Him in various ways, but He did not listen to me at all. He started going away, saying ‘Rāma-Rāma, Oh sakhi! I am going.’ He came back again somehow and said, ‘I will return your clothes only when you promise to accept Me as your husband’.” The sakhī became silent after this. At that moment, Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī asked the sakhī, “What happened after that?” The sakhī said, “I won’t tell that because it makes me bashful.”
