Shri Krishna Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 36
bad̤ī sī dulahini māṁgata lāla
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Little Ṭhākura Jī is asking His mother to bring for Him a big bride. He is still too small to take care even of His pītāmbara, it falls down again and again. He talks lispingly, saliva continues to flow from His mouth and in addition to this, His deeds are such that even after having nine lakh cows in Mother Yashodā’s home, He loiters around, stealing milk and yoghurt from the houses of Braja-maidens. And He is so naughty that some He teases, some He offends by making wry faces and some He pesters by pulling their hair. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī humorously says that it is surprising that dreadful Kaliyuga has come in Dwāpara itself; that is why, even a five year old boy is asking for a bride.
