Shri Krishna Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 10
virājata brahma nanda ke aṅka
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
The beautiful scene of the Supreme Lord sitting as a small baby in Nanda’s lap defies all descriptions. Shyāmasundara is squealing with intense joy. His lovely body is besmeared with dust. Seeing baby Kṛishṇa, whose body has turned white with dust, Kāmadeva is doubting Him for Bhagwan Shaṅkara, and consequently, feeling afraid. Nanda Jī is as intoxicated with bliss as a poor man who chances to get a pārasa all of a sudden. The Moon, it seems, smiles with excessive joy during nights seeing his father descended in his own (moon’s) lineage. (According to the Vedas, Moon is produced from the mind of God.) Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī states that the men of wisdom, who regard God to be only Impersonal or devoid of any form, are looking askance at the above-mentioned stunning spectacle and feeling enraptured.
