Prakirna Madhuri · Pad 9
nandadulāre, rādhā jū ke pyāre, prāṇa hamāre,
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh darling son of Nanda! Oh beloved of Shrī Rādhā! Oh Lord of my life! I sacrifice myself on You again and again. Seeing whose beauty even Beauty personified gets embarrassed, that captivating form, charmingly curved at the neck, waist and feet has occupied my heart. My beloved Shyāmasundara, whose eyes are full of divine intoxication and destroy the pride of even Kāmadeva, and whose side-long looks of love forcibly steal the heart, is the reservoir of infinite beauty. The complexion of Shyāmasundara’s body is black like that of a tamāla tree. He resides in the pond of Kishorī Jī’s heart like a swan. His hair are extremely dense, black and curly which present the sight of the rows of black-bees going towards the lotus of His face. On His head is beautified a crown of peacock-feathers; on His forehead is shining the tilaka of musk. He is wearing a garland made of guñjās; He is dressed in pītāmbara and the soles of His feet are bewitchingly red. Beautiful anklets encircling His ankles are tinkling sweetly. In His nose is adorned a lovely besara and the redness of His lips entices even Kishorī Jī’s heart. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says to Bhagwan Kṛishṇa, “Oh Possessor of such infinite beauty! Oh Player of the flute! Oh Protector of devotees! Why have You forgotten me? Turn Your benevolent eyes towards me as well.”
