Rasiya Madhuri · Pad 3
āyo braja, rasa bechana-vāro
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A paramahansa says, “This is a matter of the greatest fortune that the seller of the Braja-rasa i.e. the selfless divine love, has descended Himself into Braja. The Braja-rasa, which is unattainable even by the Vedas and scriptures, is being given by Nandalāla to illiterate forest-women. In order to attain this Braja-rasa, even the greatest paramahansas like Shuka, Sanaka etc. have incarnated themselves in the form of a tree in Braja. In order to attain which Bhagwan Shaṅkara changed himself into a maiden, that Braja-rasa can be attained only by the one who surrenders his body, mind and soul to Shyāmasundara as its price.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “That Braja-rasa increases every moment without any effort at all and defies even the bliss of the opulent abode of God – Baikuṇṭha.”
