English meaning
Today, in the beautiful flowery groves of Vṛindāvana, Kishorī Jī is adorning beloved Shyāmasundara with Her own hands. Kishorī Jī says, “Oh Shyāmasundara! You have always fulfilled all My desires. Today also, I have the desire to adorn You in the manner of a beautiful young maiden.” Beloved Kṛishṇa replies, “Kishorī Jī, I am only a slave of Your will, so do whatever You wish.” Kishorī Jī began adorning Shyāmasundara. How beautifully She has plaited Shyāmasundara’s hair after applying perfumed oil in them! She has also adorned the braid with various kinds of colourful, fragrant flowers. So beautiful and curly are Kṛishṇa’s hair that the braid appears as innumerable stairs made up of swarms of black bees. The beauty of shīshaphūla is so captivating that it seems as if the sun of suhāga itself has appeared assuming a body. The beautiful parting of the hair, decorated with strings of pearls, is captivating the heart. How uniquely charming is the splendour of the ornamental mark of musk on the forehead! The red bindī in the centre of His forehead is forcibly stealing the heart. The ears are adorned with flower-shaped earrings studded with sparkling gems. The shapely eyebrows, curved like a rainbow, are putting even the bow of Kāmadeva to shame. The eyes, full of mischief, are naturally black, then what to say of their beauty when collyrium has been applied to them. A beautiful besara is hanging down from the nose, and the redness of the lips is forcibly making Kishorī Jī inebriated with joy. He is wearing a blue sari with a golden border and a blouse of beautiful red colour. Kishorī Jī, covering Her mouth with the end of Her sari, is laughing silently at the sight. The double-stringed garland of kunda flowers and many necklaces made of different types of pearls and gems are adorning His neck. The glittering bangles adorning His hands look exquisite, and the gemmed bracelets are luring the heart. Extremely attractive is the redness of henna that is applied to His hands. The rings with colourful gems gracing His fingers are putting even the moon to shame. The beauty of the three meandering lines near His navel reminds one of the three waves in a pond. The waist is thin and the sloped thighs are round and firm. The sweet jingling sound of the kiṅkiṇī is captivating even the heart of ascetics. His intoxicating manner of stroll is defying even the lovely gait of an intoxicated elephant. The anklets adorned around His ankles are jingling sweetly. His feet are decorated with mihāvara and His toenails are so radiant that the beauty of even a crore moons combined together seems lustreless before them. Adorning Shyāmasundara in this manner and fixing Her gaze on Him, Kishorī Jī starts drinking the nectar of Bhagwan Kṛishṇa’s beauty with unquenchable thirst. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Seeing this incomparable adornment of Shyāmasundara, I hurriedly ran to put a black mark on His forehead to ward off any evil eye.”
