hāya daī! yaha kaisī bhaī rī
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A virahiṇī says to her friend, “Oh! This turned out to be so bad! Now, how and to whom can I tell about my love-affair with a man other than my husband? Although that son of Nanda looks so young and small, but actually He is so naughty and full of tricks that He deceived even me, a very clever woman. Oh sakhi! Even after being so clever, I sold my heart to Him in exchange for His little smile, and became mad for Him. Now, each and every moment has literally become like a kalpa for me. The poisonous vine of separation has spread all over my heart. The whole world seems to be absolutely void to me and the clouds of separation are constantly raining tears from my eyes.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh sakhi! This love, mixed with poison and nectar, which you have attained, is unattainable even by the greatest gyānīs. It is only the cleverest ones who sacrifice their head (life) to attain it.”
