sahi jāya viraha nahiṁ hāya re
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A virahiṇī says, “Oh sakhi! Now I cannot bear Shyāmasundara’s separation any longer. Oh sakhi! Just look! The clouds, rumbling in the sky, seem to show our beloved Shyāmasundara only. Flashing in the clouds, the lightning appears to show us His pītāmbara. The cuckoo, cooing in her sweet voice is, as if making us hear the sweet voice of Shyāmasundara. The papīhā saying ‘Pīu Pīu’ seems to be announcing that Shyāmasundara has come.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, the sakhī says, “What I am most afraid of is lest the soul leaves my body because if this happens, my Beloved will be blamed.”
