sunī ina, kānana jaba te tāna
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A virahiṇī says, “Oh sakhi! Ever since I heard the heart-stealing music of Shyāmasundara’s flute, I have lost all consciousness. There is nothing unworthy of being done for these ears. Oh sakhi! Now I am incapable of forgetting that melody of the flute even for one moment. And because of remaining conscious of the melodious flute all the time, my body, soul - everything is burning in the fire of separation. What to say more, even the soul wants to leave the body. I have no consciousness at all.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī , “The only consciousness I have is, when will I hear that melodious flute again!”
