sakhī! ye, aṁkhiyāṁ gaīṁ patharāya
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A virahiṇī says, “Oh sakhi! My eyes have become stony, waiting for the Beloved unceasingly, still He has not come. After flowing incessantly in His separation, even the stock of tears is exhausted now. Oh sakhi! He had usurped my worldly happiness the same day when these eyes looked into His eyes, and now I have lost even the consciousness of myself. Oh sakhi! What should I do now?” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says to the sakhī, “Oh sakhi! Each and every fibre of your being is permeated with the Beloved. Why are you befooling me then?”
