mādho! tuma pūre ṭhagahāra

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Uddhava, addressing Bhagwan Kṛishṇa says, “Oh Mādhava! You are very deceitful. You tricked even me, because You did not tell me the secret that maidens of Braja are enlightened themselves. My knowledge got swept away in the midstream of the river of their love like a dry leaf. I, the teacher of yoga, became a viyogī (lovelorn) impromptu, being inebriated with love. Those who languish in Your love remain in the state of yoga without cease, this secret is understood by me now.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh Uddhava! I sacrifice myself on that fortunate soul who meets a double-dealer like your friend, Shyāmasundara.”
