mādho! gaye dena bhala gyāna
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Intoxicated with love, Uddhava says to Shyāmasundara, “Oh friend! Well did I go to preach knowledge! I do not regret the loss of my knowledge; what I am actually worried about is that I have even lost my consciousness and understanding. Both, my knowledge as well as ignorance, have been destroyed. What to say more, I have been entirely robbed. The gopīs not only took away all that I possessed but to make the case worse, they also imparted me the great disease of the pangs of Your separation by force. Now, I feel stabbing pain in my heart as if my pranas are about to leave the body.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, Uddhava adds – “Oh God! Tell me at least now if You have any other plans for future.”
