ūdho sarasa prema rasa pāye
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Uddhava attained the sweet bliss of divine love of Personal God (premānanda) by the grace of the maidens of Braja. He gave his message of the path of knowledge to the gopīs forever and brought the message of love from them. Surrendering knowledge and yoga in their feet, he brought the disease of love with him. Forgetting his attribute-less Brahma in Braja, he got attached to God with attributes. He had gone to make gopīs his disciple, but returned making them his guru. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī adds that he had gone to make fun of ‘lovers’, but returned having made fun of gyānīs.
