ūdho!, jāya kahyo tuma vāya

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Sending a message to Shyāmasundara through Uddhava, the maidens of Braja state, “Oh Uddhava! When you go to Shyāmasundara, tell Him that it is known to everybody that one plus one makes two, but here two have come, becoming one. The inference is that you and Shyāmasundara are both alike. This saying is famous in the world that the birds of the same feather flock together. Oh Uddhava! As Mādhava is, so also are you. There is not even the slightest difference between you two. He ignited the fire of separation in our heart and you have come to pour oil in it.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “We don’t want to dispute the issue. Let Him do whatever pleases Him.”
