ūdho!, kahiyo shyāmala gāta
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Sending a message to Shyāmasundara through Uddhava, the maidens of Braja state, “Oh Uddhava! Describe to Shyāmasundara the pitiable condition of the residents of Braja exactly as you are seeing. Along with this, also tell Him that although we are yearning for Him day and night, He should never come here if He likes to stay in Mathurā. Let Him do only that which makes Him happy; our happiness also, lies in that alone.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “We don’t mind writhing in the pain of His separation for endless time, but let Him always keep smiling.”
