arī! maiṁ, marī harī binu hāya
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A gopī, pining in separation from beloved Shyāmasundara, expresses her agony in the following words, “Oh God! I am suffering from the agony of death without my Beloved. It seems that this pain of separation will not leave without taking my life. Hāi! Hāi! Let somebody come and save me immediately. I am burning through and through without any obvious fire, and also showering rain of tears from my eyes in order to be saved from it. Oh! What should I do? Where should I go? I am unable to live without Shyāmasundara even for a moment. Oh the lord of my life! Why are You taking so long in coming to me even after being the sole owner of my life?” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Come and bless me with Your blissful sight at once, otherwise, leaving my body, I myself will come to You.”
