Virah Madhuri · Pad 3
aṁkhiyāṁ, sakhi! yā rūpa lubhānī
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A virahiṇī says, “Oh sakhi! My eyes have been enchanted by Shyāmasundara’s beauty. Now they want to see none but Him. In imitation to them, even ears want to hear only Shyāmasundara’s sweet voice. I tried all means to make these eyes understand but they did not listen to me at all. Tears do not stop flowing from these eyes even for a moment. These worthless eyes have renounced the decorum of the world and the ancestry like a blade of grass. Now, what should I do?” In the meanwhile, Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī said, “Oh sakhi! Whatever had to happen has already happened. Nothing can be done now.”
