Virah Madhuri · Pad 4
aba rahī na kāhū kāma kī
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A virahiṇī says, “Oh sakhi! Now, I have become absolutely worthless for the world. Ever since I saw the fascinating form of the stealer of heart, Shyāmasundara, I have been sold to Him without any price. Now my eyes and heart are permeated only by His swarthy face. Oh sakhi! When I don’t have my mind and intellect under my control, how can I observe the decorum of the world and the Veda?” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh sakhi! Have patience. Who can understand the inverse mode of the Creator?”
