Maan Madhuri · Pad 54
shrī rādhe rānī! parūṁ tihāre pāya
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Trying to please māninī Vṛishabhānunandinī, Shyāmasundara says, “Oh Kishorī Jī! You are extremely innocent. Because of being defeated by Your simple nature, You fail to understand the tricks of these sakhīs Lalitā etc., who falsely instigate You against Me concocting ever new stories. Oh Kishorī Jī! I am telling You truthfully that these sakhīs always ask Me to come in kuñjas. But I don’t go to them. That is why, getting irritated, they bring to You false complaints against Me and You believe whatever they say. Oh Kishorī Jī! This beloved of Yours does not love anyone except You nor can He remain alive without You even for a moment.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Believing these deceitful words of Her beloved to be true, the innocent Kishorī Jī abandoned Her māna and embraced Him tightly.”
