māninī! bhaī bera aba māna
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
(Lalitā sakhī’s attempt of pacifying Shrī Kishorī Jī.) Oh Māninī Rādhikā! I have been trying to please You for such a long time, therefore accept my prayer now. Beloved Shyāmasundara is almost at the point of death, and You are still not ready to renounce Your anger. This is not right. Dear Shyāmasundara’s condition is so pathetic that even at the slightest rustling of a leaf near Him, He gets startled and anxiously looks up in the same direction, thinking that You are coming. Sometimes, totally lost in Your thought and completely oblivious of Himself, He runs from hither to thither with outstretched arms as if to catch hold of You. Sometimes, He loses consciousness and falls on the ground in a swoon, sighing ‘Hā Rādhe!’ Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says to Kishorī Jī, “Oh Kishorī Jī! Both You and Shyāmasundara are one. You know this very well. Therefore, do not pretend to be unknowing.”
