Maan Madhuri · Pad 38
piya binu, piya soṁ tiya batarāta
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
(In separation from beloved Shyāmasundara, Kishorī Jī enters the state of divine love trance and experiences the bliss of meeting with Him.) The Virahiṇī talks with beloved Shyāmasundara without His being actually present, and, completely lost in the ecstatic trance of love, makes merry with Him. Sometimes, She gets up and says, “You are very cruel, now I will never talk to You” and sometimes She says, “Oh beloved Shyāmasundara! How loving You are!” Sometimes it seems as if She is clinging to His heart and saying something, and sometimes She appears to be annoyed with Him. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Watching this divine meeting through creepers, Lalitā and other sakhīs felt the tide of love surging in their hearts.”
