Maan Madhuri · Pad 14
aho mama, priyatama sundara shyāma
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
At the break of māna, Kishorī Jī says to Shyāmasundara, “Oh My Beloved! I know that each and every moment of My separation is extremely painful to You. And even You know this very well that I do not experience any peace anywhere without You. You also know that it is Your own strange deeds which compel Me to do māna. Why then, Oh Beloved! Do You indulge in those incongruous activities deliberately?” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says to Kishorī Jī, “Shyāmasundara cannot answer this question, but You know this very well that love increases more and more in separation. This is the main secret behind His seemingly inconsistent behaviour.”
