Maan Madhuri · Pad 3
māninihiṁ, sanamukha jāta ḍare
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Shyāmasundara is feeling afraid to confront Vṛishabhānunandinī. Although He went to appease Her, He kept on standing behind Lalitā silently. Kishorī Jī looked at Lalitā with such an angry eye with which Bhagwan Shaṅkara annihilates the world. Then She asked, “Why have You come here? What were You losing without coming to me?” Lalitā replied, “Oh Swāminī Jī! We are unable to experience even momentary peace without You.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, Lalitā adds, “And there, Shyāmasundara is really on the verge of death in Your separation.”
