māninī, ḍara hari dūra khare
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Due to the fear of māninī Rādhā, Shyāmasundara is standing at a distance from Her. Just observe, He, whose fear terrifies even veritable Fear, Himself is frightened of Vṛishabhānunandinī’s fear. He is silently watching the movement of Kishorī Jī’s eyebrows. He cannot gather enough courage to go near Her. His body is thrilling, sweating and trembling due to fear. Tears are trickling down His eyes. He wants to say something but is unable to muster courage. He desires to look straight into Her eyes but cannot do so due to fright. He only looks downward. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that Shyāmasundara is writing something on the ground with His foot-nail and is feeling extremely restless.
