lūṭi mohiṁ lai gayo nandakumāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
(A gopī is talking to herself after her first meeting with beloved Shyāmasundara.) “Today, that son of Nanda robbed my body, mind, wealth and everything. I had gone to the bank of the river Yamunā with my friends; it was there that my eyes met with His. Our eyes talked in gestures, and immediately, that Prankster cast, as if a magic spell on me. After making me drink the nectar of this sweet encounter, oh! oh!, now He has given me unbearable pain of separation. When I was desperate with yearning and lost all my body consciousness, meditating on His sweet form, that Trickster held me by my hand and took me towards the groves in that unconscious state.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Don’t say anymore, I have understood. He has sown the seed of pure love in your heart. You are blessed!”
