daī aba, hāri gaī saba dāuṁ
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A gopī’s description of her meeting with Shyāmasundara to her intimate friend – Oh God! I lost the whole of my possessions in the gambling! Oh sakhi! I had gone to sell curd in Nandgāṁva all by myself. I saw a rasiyā there. The moment my eyes fell on Him, I was sold to Him, and lost all consciousness. After a while, on regaining consciousness, I asked Him to introduce Himself. Although I came to know everything about Him i.e. His name, village etc. but how should I tell this to anybody? In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “Now it is difficult for me to live even for a moment without seeing that Beloved.”
