gaī lakhi, madhura-milana balihāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A sakhī says, “I sacrificed myself at the lovely sight of the sweet meeting of Shrī Rādhā and Kṛishṇa. Oh sakhi! From one side came the all-beautiful daughter of King Vṛishabhānu, Shrī Rādhā, and from the other, the ocean of divine attributes, Shyāmasundara. On the bank of the river Yamunā, Their eyes met all of a sudden. Here, Kishorī Jī started staring at Shyāmasundara unblinkingly, becoming too engrossed in Him to hear even the loud calls of her friends, Lalitā etc., and there,” in the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “Shyāmasundara, too, was so much lost in Shrī Rādhā that He could not listen even to the high-pitched calls of His cowherd friends.”
