Milan Madhuri · Pad 14

kāli kī, bāta kahauṁ ālī!

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Telling about the first encounter of Shyāmā-Shyāma with each other to her intimate friend, a gopī says, “Oh sakhi! Listen about what happened yesterday. Kishorī Jī had gone to the bank of the Yamunā. Shyāmasundara was standing right there, playing on His flute. Suddenly, Their eyes met and both of Them were lost in the bliss of divine love. Consequently, on the one hand, the water-pot on Kishorī Jī’s head, which was filled with crystal-clear water, fell down and on the other hand, the flute too, fell down from Shyāmasundara’s hand”. In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “All this which I am telling you was viewed by me with my own eyes.”
