kāṁkari mori mārī gāgarī
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A sakhī says to her close friend, “Oh sakhi! Accompanied with sakhīs, I was going to Vṛindāvana for selling yoghurt when, all of a sudden, Shyāmasundara hit my earthen pot containing yoghurt with a pebble. As soon as the pebble struck the pot, it was broken and I got angry. But no sooner did I turn around and looked at Him, my anger disappeared in a flash before the infinite sweetness of His beauty. Inebriated with love, I could not but stare at Him unblinkingly and my heart was filled with Shyāmasundara’s love.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “Now, His separation has ignited a kind of fire in my heart which is burning me continuously.”
