dekhu sakhi! jhūlata shyāmā shyāma
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A sakhī describes the swinging līlā of the Divine Couple to her intimate friend, “Oh sakhi! Look, Shyāmā-Shyāma are swinging and the sakhīs Lalitā etc. are giving pushes to the swing. Intoxicated with divine love-bliss, Rādhā-Kṛishṇa, with Their arms around each-other’s neck are putting even the beauty of innumerable Kāmadevas to shame. The ocean of love, beauty and bliss, They are swinging, bending and swaying from side to side. Further intensifying the exceeding enchantment of this scene, Bhagwan Kṛishṇa is playing on His melodious flute, singing the beautiful raga Malhāra in it.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī adds that even Kālindī (the river Yamunā), inebriated with joy, is touching Their lotus-feet with its waves.
