dekhu sakhi! adbhuta kuñja-bihāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
“Oh sakhi! Look at the unusual līlā of the divine couple Shrī Rādhā-Kṛishṇa in the groves today. Shyāmasundara disguised Himself as Shrī Rādhā by adorning Himself in all sixteen (traditional) embellishments. Likewise, Kishorī Jī dressed Herself up as all-attractive beloved Shyāmasundara in the style of an acrobat. Kishorī Jī, in divine love-ecstasy, started calling Shyāmasundara as ‘My Pyārī!’, whereas Shyāmasundara started addressing Kishorī Jī as ‘My Pyāre!’ They also started talking lovingly to each other in this contrary manner. Forgetting Themselves in an ecstatic state of divine love-bliss, They also started performing acts of divine enjoyment in the contrary manner.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Lalitā and other sakhīs were watching this inverse recreation, hiding themselves behind the creepers of that grove.”
