jhulāvati, alina yugala-sarakāra

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

The sakhīs are swinging Shrī Rādhā-Kṛishṇa. Oh sakhi! Look, how beautifully the swing hung from a branch of the Kadamba tree has been decorated! And how lovely the adornment of Priyā-Priyatama is! Both have placed Their arms around each-other’s neck and the sakhīs are singing the songs of swing in the raga Megha malhāra with the accompaniment of various musical instruments. Both Shrī Rādhā and Kṛishṇa are glancing at each other, as if observing the love for Themselves in each-other’s glance. While swinging, Their heart is steeped in love and They are in the trance of bliss. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Viewing this heart-stealing scene along with the sakhīs, we too state again and again ‘Balihāra! balihāra!’.
