“arī o! manahārini mana hāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Kishorī Jī says to Shyāmasundara disguised as a bangle-selling-maiden, “Oh Captivating bangle-seller! You are worthy of alluring even the hearts of ascetics. What to say more, You have stolen even My heart. As You are beautiful, so is also Your adornment in sixteen traditional ways. What is Your name and which village do You belong to?” The bangle-seller replied, “Oh ‘Pyārī Jū’! My name is Sāṁvarī sakhī and Gokula is My village.” Kishorī Jī further asked, “Who is Your husband?” The bangle-seller replied, “Nandakumāra is My husband.” Then Kishorī Jī asked, “Who are Your parents?” At this question, the bangle-seller became silent, which made Lalitā a little suspicious. Therefore, she started staring at the bangle-seller unblinkingly. Because of Shyāmasundara’s long-familiar eyes, Lalitā recognised Shyāmasundara upto certain extent and upon seeing near His blouse, she beheld the Kaustubha gem which fully confirmed her doubt. Then what, Lalitā announced openly, “This bangle-seller is none other than the leader of pranksters, Shyāmasundara.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “Seeing Shyāmasundara in this guise, Kishorī Jī was overcome with laughter and both of them, i.e. Rādhā and Kṛishṇa, were united again.”
