ika āī mālini swāminī!
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
At the hint of Shyāmasundara, who has put on the guise of a flower-selling maiden (mālina) to please māninī Rādhā deceitfully, a sakhī thus says to Shrī Rādhā, “Oh Swāminī Jū! There has come a flower-selling maid. Whosoever among the sakhīs looks at this indescribably lovely mālinī is captivated by Her. Swaying and bending from side to side, She walks so sweetly that even the gait of an intoxicated elephant is put to shame. She is bedecked from head to toe with all the sixteen (traditional) adornments. She is blue in complexion, and each and every limb of Her body is so overly alluring that the god of beauty, Kāmadeva, sacrifices his extremely beautiful wife Rati on each of them. That mālinī has brought different types of garlands made of the flowers of Kalpavṛiksha etc.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, after listening to the above description of the flower-selling maiden from Her sakhī, Kishorī Jī said to her, “Fetch Her and tell to rest here for tonight.”
