Yugal Madhuri · Pad 17
sakhī sunu, priyā piyahiṁ ika bāta
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh sakhi! Listen to a unique thing about Priyā-Priyatama (Rādhā-Kṛishṇa). Although Both of Them are my Lords and Both are dearer to me than my life, yet I am unable to decide who is lovelier of the two. When I approach Pyārī Jī for getting the answer, She starts singing innumerable attributes of the Beloved and when I ask the Beloved, He too starts glorifying Kishorī Jī in innumerable ways. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī reveals the secret, “Oh sakhi! Shrī Rādhā and Shrī Kṛishṇa are two only in terms of body but with respect to all other things, They are identical. Why are you unnecessarily taxing yourself by trying to understand Them intellectually?”
