Yugal Madhuri · Pad 15
yugalavara, naina nīṁda rahi chhāya
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
The eyes of Shrī Rādhā-Kṛishṇa are filled with drowsiness. Lalitā says, “It’s time to sleep, so both of You proceed towards the palace.” A bed of fragrant flowers has been spread on the jewelled bedstead of gold. It has further been sprayed with the perfumes of Their choice. The Divine Couple has reclined on it and the sakhīs are singing the bedtime āratī. Both Shrī Rādhā and Shrī Kṛishṇa are sleeping, placing Their hands on each other’s heart. The sakhīs are feeling inebriated with bliss at this enchanting sight. Then, prompted by the thought of giving solitude to the Divine Couple, Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī said to all the sakhīs with the gesture of his hand, ‘Now all of you go to sleep as well.’
