Yugal Madhuri · Pad 14
yugalavara, ṭhād̤ho kuñja latāna
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Both Shyāmā and Shyāma are standing in a flowered arbour. Most fascinating is the beauty of Vṛishabhānunandinī’s nose-ring and Shyāmasundara’s flute! The gentle sweet smile of the Divine Couple is something only to be seen as it defies all descriptions. Standing with Their arms around each other’s neck, and immersed in the ecstasy of divine love, They are glancing at each other with side-long looks of love. Looking at their Lords Shyāmā-Shyāma who are the reservoirs of love, beauty and bliss, sakhīs sacrifice their very self on Them. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that the beauty of this bewitching scene is further enhanced by the soul-enthralling musical melodies being played by Shyāmasundara in His flute.
