Shri Radha Madhuri · Pad 47

shrī rādhejū ko, aiso hai darabāra

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Not even Shyāmasundara’s court is as kind as that of Kishorī Jī. When Jayanta, the son of Indra, assuming the form of a crow, pecked at Kishorī Jī’s foot, Rāma used an arrow against him and did not forgive him until Jayanta begged for forgiveness, saying, ‘Protect me! Protect me!’ But Kishorī Jī already detained Hanumāna Jī from killing giantesses of Lankā, forgiving their unforgivable sins without even their asking for forgiveness. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that the most blazing proof of Kishorī Jī’s causeless kindness is that She blessed the same Shūrpaṇakhā who had tried to attack Her during Rāma’s incarnation, with the fortune of becoming Shrī Kṛishṇa’s sweetheart by making her Kubjā in the descent of Shrī Kṛishṇa.
