Shri Radha Madhuri · Pad 46

shrī rādhejū ko, adhādhundha darabāra

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Grace is bestowed in unexpected abundance in Kishorī Jī’s court. Gopīs’ conduct was reprehensible which is known as fornication in the world. (These maidens of Braja loved the Supreme God Shrī Kṛishṇa single-mindedly thinking Him to be just another man and without knowing His original true self as the Supreme Power. But just as a patient is cured even when he takes the medicine without knowing its ingredients, in the same way, the gopīs too, were benefited spiritually as a result of even their adulterous love.) Boundlessly merciful Kishorī Jī made them Her female companions and made even the Supreme Lord Shyāmasundara flatter them before He could reach Her. Even after going through severe penances for ages, one like Mahālakshmī could not get even entrance in mahārāsa. Kishorī Jī introduced the world with Her unprecedented kindness by admitting in that same mahārāsa those uncivilized maidens of Braja, giving them the seat of Her dearest friends. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh mind! After knowing the secret of such merciful court, take refuge in the lotus-feet of the most unique swāminī, Shrī Kishorī Jī.
