Shri Radha Madhuri · Pad 27

bali jāuṁ lalī vṛishabhāna kī

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

I sacrifice myself again and again on the incomparably beautiful darling of Vṛishabhānu, Shrī Kishorī Jī, who is dearer to Shyāmasundara than His own life. I offer myself on that Kishorī Jī, who is an expert in conversing about the topic of intimate love throughout the night, and who is the knower of the minutest details of love. I sacrifice my all on Kishorī Jī, who walks in the style of an intoxicated elephant and whose beauty’s lightning-like radiance puts Beauty itself to shame. I offer myself on that Kishorī Jī, who in the utmost extremity of divine love mistakes a drove of bumblebees in the groves for Bhagwan Kṛishṇa (since both are dark in colour and have similar qualities, i.e. bumblebees go from flower to flower, and Shyāmasundara from one gopī to another), and hearing their humming, enters the state of māna (Bhramara geeta). Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Seeing Kishorī Jī in that state of māna, I, in the ecstasy of bliss, sacrifice my very life.”
